Being an educator, I see how decision made outside of the classroom can affect the classroom environment. I am running because I want to ensure our community’s voices are heard. Strong schools begin with listening, following through and making sure the students and teachers have the resources they need to succeed. I am ready to learn, listen, and advocate for my community.
Ensure students have access to the academic resources, support, and opportunities they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Create stronger partnerships between the district, families, and the community by making sure their voices are heard before important decisions are made.
Promote transparency and responsible decision-making while ensuring the district follows through after policies and programs are approved and evaluates how they are actually affecting school sites.
